Important Updates and Future Directions
Dear Gippy HOG Members,
As we navigate through these changing times, I am writing to provide you with several important updates that will impact our chapter and its activities.
Closure of THD
It is with a heavy heart that we acknowledge the recent announcement from Paul regarding the closure of THD. His shop has been instrumental in the establishment and growth of our HOG chapter over the past eight years. Paul's unwavering support and dedication have been the foundation upon which our community has succeeded.
We extend our deepest commiserations to Paul and his amazing team during this challenging time and express our heartfelt gratitude for their invaluable contributions. Please know that our thoughts are with Paul, and we stand ready to offer our support in any way possible.
Thank you, Paul, for everything you have done for the Gippsland HOG chapter. Your legacy will always be a part of our journey.
Closing Day 29 March
Andy – Assistant Director, posted on Facebook recently and we had a resounding response from our chapter members to be there on the last day. We will be setting up a free BBQ for all patrons and encourage you to come along and support Paul and his team. We will post this on MJ.
Upcoming Directors Meeting
I will be attending a Directors meeting this weekend and will use this opportunity to discuss the future steps for our chapter and how we can best support our members during this transition. Please rest assured that I am committed to keeping you informed and will provide more detailed information following the meeting. Your concerns and questions are of utmost importance, and I will ensure they are addressed.

Generous Offer from Dandenong HOG Chapter
On a brighter note, I am pleased to share some positive news. The Dandenong HOG chapter has graciously extended an offer of free membership for the year 2025 to all Gippsland HOG members. This is an incredibly generous gesture, reflecting the strong spirit of camaraderie and support within the Harley Owners Group community. I encourage all members to take advantage of this offer and explore the benefits of being part of the Dandenong chapter.
You can join using their form that I have attached into the MJ Documents Section – Chapter Documents. You need to use the form rather than their online registration for this offer.
2025 Ride Calendar
We will be posting the Calendar on MJ in the next few days with the next ‘Second Saturday of the month ride’ planned for Saturday March 8th as well as some mid week rides and ABCs rides.
As always, reach out to the committee if there is a ride you would like to do!!!!
Continuing Our Journey Together
Though we are facing significant changes, it is important to remember the strength of our community and the bonds we have formed through our shared passion for HD Bikes. We will continue to ride together, support one another, and uphold the values that make our chapter unique and FUN!
In closing, I want to thank each and every one of you for your continued dedication to the Gippsland HOG chapter. Your enthusiasm and commitment are what drive our success, and together, we will navigate through these times of change.
